tucked into vermont’s northeastern corner, this region moves at its own pace—one shaped by deep snow, winding trails, and a dedication to craft. In winter, jay peak and burke mountain draw skiers who don’t mind earning their turns. by summer, the kingdom trails take over, stretching through forests and farmland, some of the best mountain biking in the country. and then there’s the food—cheese made in small batches, beer brewed with intention. a place built on what lasts.
